Horror movies! Dogs in costumes! Spooky beer release parties! Heavy metal! Over 50 things to do!

It’s Halloween week, and I’ve got a lot of events to share with you. For this mega-list, which contains over 50 spooooky happenings, we scoured our emails, online calendars, and local websites to bring you an epic amount of options.

TUESDAY

Phase IV (1974)

Spooky Movie Trivia Night with Trivia Mafia

Our Lady of Peace Pumpkin Patch

Halloween Charcuterie Class

Armatage Halloween Decoration Tour

Take a self-guided tour through the Armatage neighborhood then go online and vote for things like "Best Use of Pumpkins," "Spookiest," and "Neighborhood Favorite" for a chance to win $50 gift cards from local businesses. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)

Rocky Horror 45th Anniversary Tour

Join Barry Bostwick, aka the original 'Brad Majors,' for a screening of the original unedited movie with live shadow cast Transvestite Soup and audience participation. There will also be a memorabilia display with artifacts and a costume from the movie and a costume contest. All ages. Halloween Pup Parade

Drinking a pint of beer while watching dogs in costumes go by is a great way to close out a Thursday. It’s $10 to enter your pup (check in at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. parade), and all proceeds go to Grey Face Rescue & Retirement, a foster-based senior dog rescue. 6 to 8 p.m. Bauhaus Brew Labs, 1315 Tyler St. NE, Minneapolis.

Screampunk: What Victorians Were Scared Of

Rev. Matt's Monster Science returns with this theatrical presentation on the things Victorians freaked out about. $11  7:30 p.m. Strike Theater, 824 18th Ave. NE, Minneapolis.

The Goddamn Gallows

Blood Nocturne

The Winding Sheet Outfit returns to Twin Cities Horror Festival with a tale of a Hungarian Countess who killed, tortured, and bathed in the blood of 650 virginal girls. 7:30 p.m. Thursday; 2:30 and 10 p.m. Saturday; 4 p.m. Sunday. Creepy Boys

Splinter

Dangerous Productions tells the tale of two people who survive a horrific event and are now the subjects of an unsanctioned psychological experiment to remember what happened. 6 p.m. Thursday; 9 p.m. Friday; 5:30 p.m. Saturday; 7 p.m. Sunday. Blackout in a Blackout

FRIDAY

The Horror Movie, Pizza, and Surly Darkness Release Party

On Friday Luce will have Surly Darkness 2021 and Surly Darkness 2019, with Shaun of the Dead playing on the patio, followed by Surly Darkness 2012 Vietnamese Coffee and Army of Darkness on Saturday. Free. Movies start at 8 p.m. both nights. Pizza Luce, 800 W. 66th St., Richfield. 

Nightmare on Lyndale

Dapper man-about-town IamMoody hosts this spooky fashion show featuring artist-designed masks and creepy looks by Bittersweet Designs. Goth looks are encouraged, whether you draw inspiration from 200 years ago or 2020. The party will also include snacks and booze. Find tickets here. $20. 6 to 10 p.m. Friday. WALRUS, 4400 N. Canine Costume Party

Hang out in the heated tent with dogs. All guests with costumed canines receive 1 free tulip of beer. There will also be human eats from Peppers and Fries, dog treats from Must Be Ruff, and more. Free. 4 to 11 p.m. OMNI Brewing Co., 9462 Deerwood Ln., Maple Grove.

A Pretty Casual Halloween & 4th Anniversary

Featuring spooky tunes, costume prizes, horror trivia, and scary movies on the screen each night from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Bull's Horn Food And Drink, S. 4563 34th Ave., Minneapolis.

Drive-In Movie: Hocus Pocus (1993)

Channel

VT Lovecraft Presents: The Nameless Whorers

Vilification Tennis, an insult comedy troupe, gets spooky for the latest installment. $12-$15. 8 p.m. Bryant Lake-Bowl, 810 W. Lake St., Minneapolis.

JXTA Jack-O-Lantern Takeover & Contest

A free Halloween takeover in the skate park. Featuring candy, treats, prizes, and pumpkin giveaways, plus a Jack-O-Lantern contest. Register for the contest here; RSVP to attend the event here. Free. 5:30-8 p.m. Juxtaposition Arts, 2007 Emerson Ave. N., Minneapolis.

Hausu (1977)

Night of the Macabre

Utepils Brewing Co. and Emagine Willow Creek team up for 2 days of Halloween fun. Friday features Loonar Eclipse, a Czech dark lager, on taps at a screening of Beetlejuice in the beer garden at 7:30 p.m. Saturday features a party with creepy ambiance in the taproom and beer garden, including a haunted forest, horror trivia, costume contests, and spooky DJ tunes from 6 to 9 p.m. Utepils Brewing, 225 Thomas Ave. N., Minneapolis.

Slavic Halloween Party

Featuring music by UVB and SlovCzech, Utepils Skölsch beer and Slivovitz specials all night, plus Heggies pizza and Kramarczuk’s beer sticks from the bar. 21+. Free. 7:30 p.m. Schooner Tavern, 2901 27th Ave. S., Minneapolis.

Halloween Scavenger Hunt

GooseBump 'N' Grind

Featuring three candy inspired brews: Peanut Butter Cup Stout, Watermelon Jolly Rancher Seltzer, and Caramel Apple Amber Ale. Plus a food truck, a dog costume contest, and live music by Spaghetti Monetti & the Sauce starting at 6 p.m. Free. Noon to 11 p.m. Boom Island Brewing Company, 5959 Baker Rd., Minnetonka.

Dark Fatha Release

Featuring the 2021 release of Dark Fatha, an American Imperial Stout aged in Rittenhouse Straight Rye Whiskey barrels. The menu will also include a flight featuring 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 releases; food truck Griddle on the Go; and a special Death Star cocktail. A costume contest starts at 8 p.m. Free. LHSC Fall Festival Psychic Fair

Featuring free workshops, aura photography, chair massages, food, and psychic readings, as well as vendors offering products such as crystals and aromatherapy. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lake Harriet Spiritual Community (LHSC), 4401 Upton Ave. S., Minneapolis.

Tif Dynamite's Festival of Frights Halloween Variety Show

This Halloween variety/drag show at Black Hart is offering up a $200 prize for the best costume. $8. 9:30 p.m. to midnight. Black Hart of Saint Paul, 1415 University Ave. W., St. Paul.

Halloween at the Haus

Scary Hours: A Blk Halloween Kickback
