Wanna Buy This Absolutely Wild Taxidermy House in Cold Spring?

It's... well, you just gotta see it.

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my... new home?

Up in Stearns County, a mansion available for $1.45 million currently houses giraffes, alligators, leopards, monkeys, wolves, zebras, raccoons, and a damn polar bear—all dead! Also inside the four-bedroom, five-bathroom, 7,458-square-foot lakeside Cold Spring home: a hippo head coffee table, rhino leg bar stools, hide-strewn pool table, and, interestingly, a large collection of Dayton's Santa Bears who've never had a pulse.

"Impeccably designed from the lighting, glass block, stone & woods throughout this absolute showcase," reads the property listing, which somehow avoids mentioning the seemingly endless parade of dead fauna currently inside.

So, you might be asking, what's the deal? We asked listing agent Chris Hauck of Coldwell Banker Realty for an interview, but didn't hear back. Built in 1995, the house has been on and off the market since 2018; it's currently the third most-expensive single family home available in the St. Cloud area.

Beyond the taxidermy, the property features floor-to-ceiling windows, four fireplaces, a wine cellar, jacuzzi, wrap-around porch, four-car garage, and sandy Big Fish Lake frontage on the 6.5-acre lot.

Let's take a photo tour and/or macabre safari courtesy of Coldwell Banker:
