Los Lobos, a Bob Marley Tribute, and Gobs More Great Music in This Weekend’s Concert Calendar

The most comprehensive music listings in the Twin Cities? We think so.

A-woo! It’s Los Lobos.

|Piero F. Giunti

From Reddit to Twitter to, I don't know, maybe your house, everyone in the Twin Cities has been asking one question: "Where can I find a comprehensive concert calendar these days?!?" Sometimes with even more punctuation.

Until today, the answer was "buried beneath Racket's weekly local music column." Was that a good place? A bad place? No one can really say.

But today our concert calendar, after gestating quietly for months in its old spot, emerges into a weekly post of its own. Don't get used to Friday though—as of next Tuesday, that'll be where you can find it.

I welcome all updates and corrections at keith@racketmn.com. But keep in mind this is an artisanal concert calendar, compiled by me, by hand, using traditional methods passed along from generation to generation (in other words, while watching TV at night). So don't be a dick about it.
